GiantMarkdown is an independent document-to-Markdown converter built by Simon Crouch for AI tools, coding agents, indexing and analysis.

Why are images deliberately left out?

GiantMarkdown converts text and document structure only. It does not use a vision model or OCR, so the Markdown stays focused without spending AI tokens interpreting embedded images.

Why privacy matters

Most PDFs convert in the browser and never leave the device. Files that need cloud conversion use short-lived private storage and are deleted after conversion. Read the privacy policy for the current data flow and retention details.
